Only 300 miles to great alpine routes! Where do I sign up? And everything is easier topless, duh!

A female developed the majority of the routes in Jack's Canyon, Arizona. 300-600+ or something like that.

I know a few.

Makes sense you wouldn't see them at crags.

Oh and they don't spray about it.

Way low key.

Simple. We'd rather have a nice rack than a big drill.

I know several women who bolt new routes, but you're right, it's pretty rare.

my wife and i put up a route together a while back, gear line to a bolted anchor. i drilled one and she drilled one. i instilled the fear of the dreaded 'spinner' in her, which was good. there has never been a straighter, narrower hole hand drilled anywhere. it took her a while though!

For what its worth:
We always tie an overhand safety knot 6'-8' down on the line just in case the GriGri trigger were to get caught up

Perhaps you've never heard of Heidi Badaracco or Amy Whistler. Try waking up.

I wish this girl was my girlfriend. I bet she works at Ed's Cantina and is a true fire-fox from HELL.

Jasmine, you need to come down to El Potrero Chico and experience the joy of free-climbing big walls without having to carry all that frickin' gear, place all that frickin' gear, remove all that frickin' gear, re-rack all that frickin' gear, build anchors etc, etc.

It being limestone down there, I wouldn't shed too many tears. But certainly hats off to those willing to climb with trad skills there. That generally restricts you to frightfully loose ridge scarefests.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
