A girl bolted alot of Muir Valley in KY, her nickname is the 59" drillbitch

A female developed the majority of the routes in Jack's Canyon, Arizona. 300-600+ or something like that.

because their too busy being mega hot to bolt anything.

I know a few.

Makes sense you wouldn't see them at crags.

Oh and they don't spray about it.

I know several women who bolt new routes, but you're right, it's pretty rare.

my wife and i put up a route together a while back, gear line to a bolted anchor. i drilled one and she drilled one. i instilled the fear of the dreaded 'spinner' in her, which was good. there has never been a straighter, narrower hole hand drilled anywhere. it took her a while though!

For what its worth:
We always tie an overhand safety knot 6'-8' down on the line just in case the GriGri trigger were to get caught up
