Depending what your into I'd say you should also hit up Sedona, AZ and do some towers. Pretty unique climbing experience. |

how safe is potrero these days? i was thinking of making a trip there and would have to come from the north through nuevo laredo and hear its pretty dangerous in those parts. sorry for the slight hijack. anyone driven that recently? |

That was my thinking before I posted this -- Red Rocks, JTree, maybe Cochise. And maybe an easy tower near Moab on the way to Vegas. |
