Looking for motivated partners for the sandias, or anything else. I'm usually off sunday and monday.

Hello,
I'm planning to go to all or part of a conference in Santa Fe that runs July 5 - July 23, and looking for people to climb with then. I want to plan the time I will be there to coincide with when I can find climbing partners for. I've climbed in the area alot in previous Julys - lots at White Rock, Diablo Canyon - some also at El Rito and Las Conchas. I'm safety conscious, do both trad (up to 10d on good pro) and sport (will attempt up to 12a), and enjoy multipitch routes as well as cragging. I have a full rack & 70m rope which I'll bring - but won't have a car :( So I'd be dependent on other people for a ride to and from Santa Fe - in exchange however I'm happy to cover gas. I'm pretty flexible about what I climb - just would be happy to get out and climb in an area I don't get to often.

I've never found a partner for climbing in the Sandias while there in previous Julys - but would like to get out there. Are raptor closings an issue?

If you are interested please contact me asap at greghueyccc _at_ cosmology.name or call me at home 626-396-9284. I need to decide what part of the three weeks of the conference I will attend & buy a plane ticket, so please let me know as soon as you can.

Hey Guys,
If you need a partner, my schedule is flexible, and I lead 5.10 in about any setting on gear or sport. I love the adventure of the sandia's, and would be psyched to get on the southwest ridge of the needle. Give me a call if interested..720-Five Six Zero-1508
Cheers,
Nick

I'm interested in climbing in the Sandias. Haven't been yet, except for scrambling up and down Knife Edge. I can lead into 5.10, both sport and trad. I'm free on weekends, and I'm new to town. I've been here about a month.
