This book is my bible this time of year here in Az. It has all the good swimming holes and includes some of the technical canyons, not all of them though.

Todd Martin is a genius in the AZ Canyon arena... If you have facebook - very often you can see his pics of places to explore and get some ideas of your own... he is usually good about answering some questions as well...
