Camping at Hartman Rocks - Gunnison

Thinking about heading there this weekend for some climbing and biking. Any chance to get camping on Thursday or Friday night?

Route/area recommendations?

Tons of free camping everywhere in hartmans. You just can't sleep in the parking lot at the base. Look around there are tons of developed sites(some much better than others). Lots of good routes. My favs are Groove Rock, and Best Crack wall. Night assents of Cock rock are always fun. Might see you out there. Peace

Big bike race @ Hartman's this weekend. Thurs night should be mellow, but I'd imagine that it will get crowded by Fri if the weather's nice. Drive up to the top of the hill and head left. There's camping and climbing out there and plenty of singletrack in all directions.
