On the ice

This was the snow and ice we found on the upper ramp May 30, 2021. Route desc. calls it "exposed snow/ice faces up to 60 degrees". Photoshop measures it at ~42 degrees. Camera leveler confirmed horizontal is flat. May steepen later season though.

We had to do a boulder problem to gain the ridge right at the toe. Thankfully, all of the holds are loose and there is a monstrous crevasse waiting to swallow you if you fall off this thing.
