Traversing with the pig across the base of the South Chasm View Wall on an early ascent of Astro Dog. We approached via the SOB gully, which involves rock traverses on both sides of the river and crossing the river on large boulders. Kind of a burly way to go about it, but at the time there weren't any established rap anchors, and it made for a cool rim to rim traverse. Photo by Frosty Weller. 9/88
