Absolutely no difference between Douche Bag and or Tool Bag. However, the Tool concept was always a loss to me. just stupid. Douche on the other hand is a great term, and no PC, drink the Kool Aide, we need to set an example, diatribe is ever going to stop me our the world from such a great word.

It's interesting; I guess everyone has seen the SNL skit that I posted yesterday; to the point that it failed to make my point-douchebag was a very popular expression in the '70s, at least where I lived. Nothing new here. Now, as to the question of the inherent offensiveness of the term, I finally had to ask the authority; my wife. She considers it nearly on par with the C word;I would risk emasculation and death, in that order, were I to use that word in her range. She may have exaggerated to make her point; nevertheless, the fact that a middle aged woman thinks it's an offensive term is established. Enter the young women in the video posted by camhead, (what a hoot!), obviously those women have a different attitude towards the term than my wife. It does strike me as double standard that men are often expected to graciously accept stereotypes (such as the clueless husband of countless TV ads) analogous to those that are considered degrading to women. We are expected to have a sense of humor about being clueless idiots. Keeping your sense of humor, and hopefully, a reasonable perspective seems to be good advice.

Stood next to the water cooler or went to Chotchkie's....personally, I prefer convo about douchebaggery to waiters with flair.
