This thread is great, glad I'm not the only one procrastinating studying..

Breakdown of my final studying so far tonight (which was supposed to be around 150 pages):

10:00 - Check MP for 25th time today
10:15 - Study Finance, get from page 300-302
10:18 - Check MP for witty comments/ethics debates
10:30 - Get back to Finance, get from page 303-309
10:38 - Search MP for climbs at local crag you've already viewed 100x, daydream of weekend so you can go climb
10:50 - Study Finance, get from page 310-320
11:04 - Watch MP slideshow for cool pictures
11:20 - Study Finance, get from page 320-330
11:39 - Check MP for F/S items that I won't buy since I'm broke
12:00 - Exhausted from all the hard studying, call it quits and watch the Daily Show/Colbert Report.

Mine was similar as well...
- Watch movie to prepare for studying
- Go to school and talk to a classmate for 30 minutes about how bad school sucks
- Study for 5 minutes
- Check facebook to see if anyone has anything to say
- Check MP for the same
- Back to facebook in case I missed anything
- Tire out from studying, and go get a beer
- Go home and watch TV to decompress from studying

So...what you guys are all whining about is that you're still completely occupied getting your education; you're feeling cheated because you haven't yet had the opportunity to have your souls crushed by a few decades of servitude to some amorphous corporate ponzi scheme? My heart bleeds for you, but my crushed soul wants to say, "just you wait"...
Jon Ruland-that is some seriously funny shit, man.

Nope...I've been doing the work AND school gig for over 10 years. Believe me...I'm crushed.

I was sure there were some of you out there; congratulations on that whole motivation thing. Don't take my gallows humor seriously, I would like to feel like I had the energy to do what you're doing.

Glad it has worked for you-I can say that it doesn't always pay off. Sometimes you end up working for a Douchebag (see thread "the D word")who doesn't know whether to shit or go blind, and decides that the people who do the work are expendable...I'm not bitter, I'm experienced.

he he -- 1 more test, didn't think I'd make it through this 1st going back semester; not too shabby either, but I'm a science dork anyway.

I guess I may just have to take a few more classes.

John I applaud your efforts but I must say, I have been done for a week and i feel like i've had less sleep now that school's out due to the excessive amounts of time that can be logged into Climbing, MP, Drinking excessively and Nazi Zombies. Ahhh gotta love the summa time. Anyone have any sick plans for the summer? All I have is up coming gritstone and probably the South of France...and lots of beer.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
