Do you have any experience in clucking photography? My boyfriend and I are looking for a photographer. We'd be willing to give you a catch and let you borrow gear if you'll take photos and/or film.

My boyfriend and I are really into clucking as well.
We are climbers who fuck, not fuckers who climb.

I'm very interested in getting a photographer for updating my facebook profile photo. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

guys, I feel like all this clucking talk, while stimulating on several levels, is ultimately distracting the OP's original intent on finding a man, uh I mean climbing partner. Whoa, what a freudian slip. Sorry Michele, didn't mean to spill the beans.

I have dated climbers and know the climbing world ... if I was looking for a man, MP would be the absolute LAST place I would look. I'm looking for people to climb with. Apparently, MP was the last place to look for real climbers, too. Looks like the majority of the people on here spend most of their time high jacking people's posts to make fun of them for wanting to learn a something new. I guess I'll leave climbing to stoners, creepers, and the scumbags of the earth. Or just go find real people to go climb with. I'm getting outta this thread, in anyone really wants to just CLIMB, and not fuck around, then send me a message.

Peace

Well, unfortunately all the real climbers are in the Centennial State; typically 35 miles outside of Bou...

So this whole thing is a bummer, I can totally feel for you.

About the only thing I can do is offer another item for your fridge.

Shumin Wu wrote: The difference between that thread and this is the OP in the woody thread was conceivably serious, whereas the OP in this thread is clueless. There were some serious offers and real advice given in that thread, whereas the only useful thing I've read in this thread is: and it's not even directed at the OP. To OP (if you are still reading the thread). People have mainly been harping on 2 things, if you haven't gotten the drift: 1) Be self-sufficient: you ought have learned that from climbers, so get your own gear before you ask for a partner, and know how to take care of yourself instead of mentioning some BAMF you know 2) Beggars can't be choosers: you are looking for a mentor, not an equal partnership, so stop demanding what your potential mentor should/shouldn't be, and offer something a little more (than you'll take pictures) to attract someone other than those looking for benefits in the sack.

Oh man, this is getting a little out of control. I even tried to be a nice person and offered to climb sometime.

Well, if you can't beat them...

I have [over 50,000 top rope climbs worth of] experience, but I'm a big fan of [myself] ... I keep [journals of how awesome I am on] my refrigerator. I'd like to put more [disturbing photos of myself there]. That's where you come in.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
