Zion Partners

I live in Springdale, where Zion NP is located, and am looking for regular or sporadic partners.

I've been climbing for about 4 years, spending several summers in the Tetons and hitting some other spots in Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and Cali, Argentina and Peru.

Prefer Trad, but generally like climbing in all it's forms. Can lead 5.8 or 5.9 depending on the day and time since my last time on the sharp end. Follow 5.10ish, being more comfortable in cracks than on the face. Competent rope and belay skills.

Free most weekends, some Fridays and weekday afternoons. Enjoy full moon and head lamp cragging.

I'll be spending 10 weeks in Springdale working for Zion NP from July 1 to Sept 15. Don't know a soul. We should hook up if you're still around in the summer.
