who made those bolt anchor stickers anyway? I had one once but forgot where it came from. They do look nice on a blue Outback sport route I must say.

I was parked in the front part of my driveway in my designated parking space (not on the side behind the bush, or illegally in my wife's parking spot). It wasn't like this when I arrived at home since I pulled my gear out of the trunk, but it's the first thing I noticed when putting my gear back into my car. Obviously from the height of the bolts I would put it in the range of a small sport climber or boulderer. I understand HOW these things happen, but what pisses me off is he/she left no note and just drove off. Now if you did not notice that you bolted my route then that's OK, but I would appreciate it if you could PM me so we can work this out. However if you just bolted my route and then drove off and you're reading this right now thinking to yourself I'm not emailing this guy then I really hope that you pop a major tendon the next time you go out climbing that keeps you away from climbing for a LONG time (I don't wish any other bodily harm than this, we are only talking about a car here). The alternative here is that I've already contacted the police and my insurance company and if I see your drill with blue paint all over the bit then I'll let the cops and you handle it. Since I'm totally lame and stay in my house both during lunch and after work chances are I will see you there.
Seriously, you guys can find any and every reason to take the piss out of anyone on this site. I posted something serious and you talk smack. This site really is going to shit and every attempt for it stay away from the typical slanderous bullshit that we see on RC.com is officially lost.

BTW that is some pretty funny shit seeing those bolts attached to your car, but you, Kirk Cameron, and Jon Ruland can go F yourselves.

Okay, honey - try this on for size and see how your little fender-bender stacks up.

I bought a car from a private seller on Thursday morning. Told me it was in great repair, no issues, have a good time. I had no reason to distrust him.

It died Saturday night. Broken timing belt. That means valve damage. And repair costs beyond what I paid for the car.

You want sympathy? You'll find it between shit and syphilis in the dictionary. You got away lucky.

Love Love Love.

Holy shit, guys!

Jarthur, I don't think they're talking smack. Climbers just have ADD. We're kind of like monkeys with a coconut when it comes to riffing on a thread.

Martha, you can keep your shit and syphillis. I'm already sympathetic to your plight. Christ!

I like to get angry also, mainly because I like to feel better then other people. Sounds like a good time to practice some acceptance.

Wait, all this hot air about $200 worth of scratches to a POS 15 year old Honda Civic?

Dude, really.

Personally, I think we are way funnier than those tossers on RC. We all understand the full on suckness of what happened. But what's life without laughing. Look, the chances of you finding the person that hit your car are about as slim as me finding the dick that stole my bike off of Pearl. Sometimes you gotta make lemonade. All of these guys posts were hilarious - they made me grin on an otherwise boring day. Be careful what you say - you never know when you are going to need somebody's help - and it might be Kirk Cameroon.

And Cushman - the bolt is an improvement - takes the focus off your FACE, but I am sure you mother loves it.

It's all good. I mean forgiveness is my nature, as you too should forgive the *&%! that dinged your car.

Maybe I could heal the damage for you?

actually it should be covered under your COLLISION COVERAGES, not COMPREHENSIVE.

and hit & runs will not count as an at-fault accident, so will not effect your rates.

so your dilema is whether you cough up your $1,000 deductible to fix your 10 yr old Honda Civic, or wait and see if the culprit in the 10 yr old toyota shows up and you can jump his sheet.

What does 'take the piss out of anyone' mean exactly? Seriously curious??

If I had my dictionary of Cliches on hand I would tell you. There are some crazy origins to most of those sayings.
I like the Origin of 'Balls to the wall' personally, its not what you expect.

Okay I'll take the bait - what's the origin of 'balls to the wall'?

fighter pilots. balls == throttle control knobs. wall == end of throttle slot. balls to the wall == pushing the throttle control knobs all the way forward (maximum acceleration).

not at all a reference to ... balls

Whatever it means, everyone can keep their piss to themselves, thank you very much.

Someone hit my girlfriend's car in Denver about 7 years ago- peeled back the hood liek a tin of sardenes. I knew I was looking for a jacked up black truck.
I found it. I called the cops. They took nice care fo the situation. They tow the offending car and hold it as evidence, you know... until the trial. In the trial, the perp can loose thier liscence and do time. When faced with all of this, the owner was asked if she could suddenly remember anything. She suddenly did and agreed to have the insurance fix my GF's car. Then the cops asked me if I wanted to pres charges anyway. We did not, ONLY because they were neighbors and we didn't want future reconing. If it were a random, I think she would have pressed.
Anyway, the car got fixed with a completely new hood, lights, and a new paint job.

Catch the MF'ers. I've been hit so many times I've lost track. Not once has anyone ever left a note. Nto when the punched my radiator in with a bumper hitch, not when they dented down my hood, not when the ran over the front corner of my driver's side fender, not when they smashed a fender and headlight in the super market parkinglot, not when the cracked my front bumper... To note, in each case it was a truck or SUV judgeing by the hieght of things. I think they have huge blind spots and I had a little tiny car.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
