April @ Indian Creek

I am on an indefinite climbing road trip. I am currently in Red Rocks and about to head east to spend the month of April in Indian Creek or vicinity. I was onsighting in the 5.11-5.11+ range back in November and working some 12's at the creek. I have a large rack with 5-6 cams per most sizes. I would be into mixing it up with some cragging days and hitting some of the classic towers in the region as well. I plan on heading to the valley in May and maybe hit some other climbing areas on the way. I would like to meet up with some like minded laid back climbers with maybe a simular program. Check out my blog below to see what I have been up to.

Hi Dan, I'm hoping to be in IC most weekends in April and probably also beginning of May. I may also be interested in YNP and other areas. Hope we'll get in touch to see if we can build any common plans.

Hi Dan,
I'll be in the Creek April 4-10 and I'm looking to find a partner. I climb 10s and 11s at the Creek. I haven't been there for over a year. I have triple camalots and tons of firewood. I'm safe and laid back and just psyched to remember what desert splitters are all about. I'm also psyched to get on a tower, such as as primrose.

Cheers,
Rainbow

Is this the same Rainbow that was in Squamish around August, if so I was the leading up the split pillar behind you guys, then bumped into you in yosemite in the fall. I am looking at arriving in the creek probably on the 3rd or 4th of April. I will be in touch later this week, I am off the next few days to surf and climb
at j-tree, then will make my way to Indian creek.

Hey Dan,
Yeah, I remember you from both those places! I'd be psyched to do some climbing with you! Sounds like we have compatible dates for the beginning of your trip If for some reason we don't connect before the Creek, we can leave a message for the other on the main message board. If other connections come through for us, the more the merrier for cragging. I'll be rolling in late that Sun. from Ouray.

Psyched,
Rainbow

Hi Dan and Rainbow,
Looks like I missed meeting you at Squamish by a few weeks last summer.
I will be arriving the afternoon of Thursday (7 April), staying through mid-May.
I'll leave a note at the Beef Basin bulletin board. If you'd like me to join you, please leave a note for me there too.

Peggo,

I will be camping at the Creek Pasture, which on the right just past the Davis canyon road heading towards canyonlands. I have a white dodge campervan sportsmobile with Texas plates, it's hard to miss.
I just pulled into Moab and on my way to the creek, so won't be able to check messages often.
Leave a note on the beef basin road if you can't track me down.

Hey Dan,
I hope I didn't bail on you. I thought you had a sprinter and didn't see it around so I didn't hunt too much. I ended up having a posse of friends who were there. Now I'm back home. Give a holler if you're ever in the Boulder area and want a partner.

Happy sending,
Rainbow

I am also on a bit of a road trip and am hanging out at the Creek pasture camping in a Dodge Caravan with Castle Valley panted on the side. Hopefully we will hook up.

If anyone else is looking for partners I am keen to climb anything going. Have been getting on towers and keen to climb more.

I have account of what I have been up to so far on daveeabrown.blogspot.com

Cheers

I'm going to Utah / Indian Creek about April 21 until at least May 3 and would like to find partners. I don't onsight 5.11+ ( but I did flash Crack Attack, an easy 5.11, a few years ago!), have about 3 cams of most sizes, and have a truck with high clearance and 4WD. I enjoy climbing towers as well as at the creek. I usually camp at Bridger jack, so may stay there if there's a site available.
