Hank, I'll be back at 1:30 to check up on you all. Maybe I'll leave my pager number so you can contact me...

I'm no hardman, but. . . .
The first pic I'll guess up LCC?
(Let's see, oaks and granite and moderate slabs with cracks. . .which state?)

Nope, not LCC (nor granite). I'll save you the trouble of further guesses with the answer:

First photo is my oldest on Boardwalk. Not the Boardwalk in Vedauwoo near Walt's Wall, but at Crow Hill, MA. Great little 5.5 on the right end of the crag where Henry Barber free climbed some classic hard crack routes long ago.

Cool! At first I thought I didn't care what random crag it was, but I actually have fond memories of doing some of my first leads here in college. Makes me glad I have more than borrowed nuts and hexes now.

Yeah, it's a neat little spot in the woods that I like to climb at when visiting relatives in Shrewsbury. I've got plenty of additional photos of random little crags where I take my kids, but I'll refrain from posting them so that Hank and Legs don't have to visit the dentist.

if you keep going straight up
Eric8 · · Maynard, MA · Joined Nov 2007 · Points: 310

I think that one will give some people some problems...its not in the database and a route from the wall has already been posted, right?

Jason Killgore · · boulder, co · Joined Sep 2008 · Points: 165

ah, didnt check database. so, will give clues instead. eric knows it, so he should hold off a bit. The most famous route on this wall was already posted. The 2nd most famous route on the wall heads left after the pitch pictured. The route to guess keeps going straight up.
