No matter what, they remain my heros for what they may have done at so early a date with such crappy equipment. Puts us to shame 90 years later, doesn't it?

Just a question but could they not just check Mallory's body for signs of frostbite? I mean I know he is frozen but the climbers today often get frostbite while sumiting so it would at and to reason if he did with the equipment of the time his fingers would show that would they Not? It would not be definitive of course but would make it clearer?
