Josh,
I wouldn't worry about those guys.
One leads WI3 and the other has climbed "The Dirtcicle"
I'd be interested in Maple or Joe's some time.
With some good cold weather some of the "hard" climbs at Joe's might come in.
Anyone know conditions??

Right on man.
I Know the climb well, I've driven past it 100's of times and climbed it a few.
I was just kidding around with you guys.
But i'm not kidding about climbing out there this year.
Let me know if you want to get out. I'd meet anywhere in the southern mountains of utah.
Have rack,rope, and can lead.
I'm safe and experienced

I was merely saying that I thought Zozo's comment was funny.
It's tough to find a good ice partner. Nobody wants to go stand in the cold.

" Nobody wants to go stand in the cold. " -Crisco
thats just what i'm getting at, crisco
I DO!
my schedule is completely open
i am willing to suffer
I dig that initial breath of cold air that causes you gasp/choke

"if you're going to tickle, tickle
if you're going to be silly, be silly
if you're going to hang out, hang out"
my daughter said this as I was typing this response
made sense to me
i think i'll go spend the day with her

I hear you cisco
I think your sayin its hard to find good ice partners that gel as a team and move as one unit rather than standing in the cold bitching about how long you new partner is taking.

Why don't we all just have a big group hug.....
at the base of a very big piece of ice and go climbing.

Where do you guys want to meet??

I'll drive up from Colorado and climb whatever ice lines are in good.
Let me know
LETS GO CLIMBING GENTLEMEN!!!!!!!!!!

PS Josh, I have 3 daughters ages 1,4,7, isn't it amazing the words of wisdom that come out of there mouth!!!!

i agree, it is tough to find the perfect partner
and i offer hugs and hot chocolate (with marshmallows even) to anyone
today i'm heading up maple with daughter in tow
i'm sure nothing is in yet, but it's a nice ski for me and my kid loves the ride down the road
then joes and bears fork tomorrow

the wisdom of innocence out of a four year old never ceases to amaze me

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
