Have you ever wanted to climb with one of the hard men or women you see in the pages of the mags? You may have seen pictures of Madaleine Sorkin on the West Face of the Leaning Tower. What would it be like to spend a day sport or trad climbing with her? Or how about ascending some monster icicles in Rocky Mountain National Park with alpinist Kelly Cordes? Perhaps you want to go soloing with Alex Honnold? Well, maybe not, but he could rope gun you up some pitches you’ve never dreamed about climbing. At Girls Education International’s annual Beats for Books fundraising event at The Spot Gym on Tuesday, October 27,
you can bid in a live auction on days climbing with one of these or many other rock stars.
In addition to the live auction, your $25 ticket includes a presentation by legendary rock climber Lynn Hill
