Getting There Suggest change

Take Tramway to Simms park road (first right north of Academy). You may see the signs for Elena Gallegos picnic area. Drive up to pay station (one dollar on weekdays, two on weekends) and follow the loop parking around to the easternmost lot.
From here take the primary trail heading east until you reach the Fence for the Pino trail (about 15 minutes). There should be some rocks just above you on the right. To reach the main area head south west around the mound to an obvious drainage. For the upper area go through the fence and walk up trail about 100 ft and you should see a brown post on your right. Walk back through the grass to gain some cairns. Follow cairns and faint trail to the boulders.
I will post a map in the near future.
