Rocky Mountain Rescue Appreciation Thread

As a firefighter for Left Hand Canyon, I've had the pleasure of assisting this organization a couple of times. Damn do they have their shit together. I can't give out details about today, but they ruled. Just thought you should know, Jesus may love you, but RMR shows up and saves more than just your soul. Thanks folks.

Rocky Mountain Rescue helped me after a serious ground fall I took in July of 04, both arms broken, pretty bruised up hip/knees, the worst black eyes you have ever seen... All that good stuff. They were insane fast to get to me, very complete about keeping my neck and back safe and all around awesome. They were even making jokes with me in the ambulance on the way to the hospital to help me feel better.

Its because of you awesome folks that I still climb today.

They helped me when I broke my ankle up at rincon last May 31st. I am forever grateful to the people that put in so much time and effort to help strangers in need, I hope I too can do that some day. I feel like a jerk for not writing them a thank you letter and mailing it directly, maybe I better do that this weekend.

Thank you very much for the kind words. The members of the Rocky Mountain Rescue Group are all volunteers and many of them joined to help give back to the community. It is rewarding to help those in need and more so to be acknowledged for those efforts.

It is important to note that the Rocky Mountain Rescue Group is one component of the emergency medical system in Boulder County. We are grateful for the hard work and cooperation of many other individuals and agencies that come to the aid of those in need.
