Michael following the long linked pitch in the dihedral (3+4) on September 3, 2023. Note the fresh snow on the north face of Whitney.

A very nice step across finish- reminiscent of the Red Dihedral's step across on the Hulk.<br>

For us, this was 3rd pitch.

The offwidth section at the start of pitch 4/5 depending on how you link the pitches. There is a thinner crack running on the right that takes smaller gear.

A 70m rope will get you all the way from the 4th class ledge to the dihedral corner.<br>
<br>
Climbing the dihedral pitch in the sun is a way more pleasant experience than climbing it early in the morning when it's shady and the rock is cold.
