Well the 2nd annual SARCF is scheduled for the weekend after labor day. The location is Crane mnt this year. Jay has been working hard this past year getting "his" mountain in shape for the event. Crane is a mnt that has something for everyone. boulders, trad, cracks, slab, even some sport. We just put up a couple new routes yesterday with more to come next week that are of 4 star quality.

Free primitive camping is available near the boulders.
We have some pretty cool door prizes to give away as well.

Steve Ovitt, Ranger for this region, just came up today and established the group campsite that will be used for this year's festival. I couldn't be happier with the location, as it makes finding us convenient and easy.
I'll be heading up to the summit tomorrow to familiarize one of the festival "staff members" on the routes and TR set-ups there. Next day is back out to the BAW for more self-flagellation (heh!). And the next day, too, in all liklihood...
Long and short, there's a LOT of good climbing here, from squat-thrust bouldering to 300' cliffs. Come on out and join the fun, September 11 - 13th.

Chrix We are hosting an adopt-a-crag event at the same location on Oct 17th if you can make it I'm sure we would have some time in the afternoon to climb. (there is some decent ice on crane too ;))

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
