Worked on our cardio at Mt. Charleston, followed by more evening hiking in the Sheep Range; watched a beautiful sunset, and enjoyed seeing the bats, and owls fly about, as the full moon came into view. My very best Sin City Boot Camp partner, and good friend, Holly. We love talking about girly things when working out, like flowers, and men. (hee, hee, hee) ; )<br> <br> Mt. Charleston on a hot day.
Inspired by the Coloradans I've met who are in really great shape, I'm now starting a regimen of getting myself out more consistently (I used to do that, but I got lazy ; / ), even if it is still over 100 degrees at the 6pm start time. WooHoo! <br> <br> Taken 7/29/09 on Day 2 of cardio hill climbing, day 4 of eating healthy. <br> <br> Gym tonight at midnight after work. Hell, yeah I'm digging it!! I'm feeling better already; Thanks Colorado!! We loves ya! : )

Holly, a best friend, and a favorite hiking/scrambling partner.<br> <br> What a perfect day at Kraft Mt. ; we saw 4 bighorn (2 males, and 2 females) on opposite sides of the canyon, at the same time! We also saw a bunch of quail, a hummingbird, and various other critters who were also enjoying the day. We felt very lucky to have seen such beauty surrounding us!<br> <br> 9/7/09<br>

Riding in the Red Rock loop to watch the meteor showers at midnight Wed. night. What a show!<br> <br> To get a better work-out I opted to ride a vintage $10.00 bike (it's actually worth less) I picked it up at a garage sale several months ago. (I wanted a bike I wouldn't miss if it got stolen) The lady said it's a ten speed but I swear it's a one, okay, maybe a 1.5 speed. It flies down hill, but vibrates violently when I put on the brakes. Sometimes you actually do get what you pay for. Fun ride, equipped with lots of clanking; it's music to my ears. : )<br> <br>
