I know right where you are laying, not a very comfy spot to hang out.

We were at the North Rim campground when this went down. Heard rescuers lowering in and getting it done. Way to hang in there!! We still climbed, albeit thoughtfully, the next day. I will never forget hearing rescuers shouting to you guys from across the canyon with a bullhorn!!

We watched them lower a rescuer to what was obviously not gonna be where you guys were, then winch him back up and set up to do it all over again. Eventually we went to bed. Glad everything turned out OK.
