Morrison bouldering this weekend fri, sat, or sun

Just bought my first bouldering pad and want to check out the Morrison rocks. Looking to try some V0 and V1 problems to see how I do. I have done very minimal bouldering outside of the gym, so I have no idea what level I climb at. I can spot just fine and don't mind spotting you on harder routes if you're at those levels.

Let me know if you're interested, and we'll pick a day where the weather looks good. As of now, it appears all mornings look pretty good. I need to work a bit friday morning, so I could possibly make it out by 10 or 11...sat all day...sunday morning into early afternoon.

If you're in denver or somewhere between there and morrison, I can pick you up. -Nick

Just an FYI - Morrison will be a ZOO this weekend with the Phish shows at Red Rocks...

That's this weekend? damnit...thanks for the heads up. I have no idea how crowded the boulders there get already...you think a stoner show at red rocks will make them that much more crowded?

just in case...I'm just looking for a climbing or bouldering partner in the denver/golden/boulder area. Just want to get out and do something fairly close to home. I'd like to stick with trad or bouldering rather than bolted climbing this weekend.

mornings i'm sure would be fine... i think parking will probably be your biggest issue rather than crowds at the rock

ya morrison will be crazy this weekend with hippies everywhere, plus by 10 or 11 it could be hot there. if you want to do some bouldering where it will be cooler drop me a line and i can tour you around three sisters up in evergreen, they have lots of stuff there.

Go to the south side. It will nice and not too hot and you will probably be the only person there. Parking won't be an issue until later.

Nick,

Spend an extra 5 minutes on C-470 and go to Fireblack Boulder
You will be the only one there in all likelihood.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll keep all that in mind if I head for Morrison. Sent you a PM ropeless.

Hmmm...naked climbers, slimey non-chalked up hands, and bears...sounds like a great place to me, Lee! ...and with that said, I could make it out there with you after work someday if I don't get to it this weekend....

I've been up to Three Sisters park three times in the past week and a half and I would strongly recommend it. Morrison is classic but most of the climbs there are quite difficult. I'll know more about my schedule tonight for the weekend; If I'm free I'll be heading up to Evergreen probably.

Nice, definitely let me know. Number is 7one3-724-one382 if you get some free time.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
