A foreshortened view of the route and how my partner and I pitched it out. We moved the belay atop P1 a bit to better position ourselves below P2.<br> <br> The rock is good, a bit of cleaning is of course necessary, as are all barely touched alpine routes.<br> <br> The belays are well protected and the views and solitude are boundless!
Mt. Neva's east face in early June 2004. There was about the same amount of snow in late June 2008. The face is about 600 vertical feet. We climbed four longish pitches to the snow below the summit.
