I'm a feared that we are going to need you this summer Spanky. It is hard work, sometimes scary, fearsome work, and in the best Markie Motes tradition. Good on you. Me proud of you Kemosabie! And it is not my fault!

Yep, I'm a hotshot going to school to get certified to start doing actual Forest Fire Training and then becoming an actual Forest Firefighter. I'm to old to go to smoke jumper school. Jumping scares me enough as it is. No need to add fire into the mix. IMO. Thanks all, I can't wait.

Those 21 day straight, traveling the country but not actually working but 10 days and getting paid triple time by the second week are MONEY! Make sure your honey is cool with you being gone all Summer though.....They did tell you about that part right?
