I am coming into the Phoenix area for work next week. Looks like I might have Tues off and will be able to climb on Fri morning/afternoon before having to catch a plane back at 6 pm. I would like to get out and either do some sport/bouldering/short trad. I can lead 11 sport / 10 trad comfortably, been climbing for about 15 years and am very careful safety-wise. I am also looking for bouldering suggestions in case I can't find anyone free to rope up.

Thanks,
Dan Godshall

feel free to give send me a note, as either day is open for me. if we don't hook up, you might try getting to the rei in tempe or paradise valley and picking up the very cheap bouldering pamphlets they have. which one you get depends on where you're staying and your transportation situation - the phoenix valley is rather spread out but there's decent bouldering on a few areas in central and north phoenix.

i've got gear, so if we can hook up you won't need naught but harness, shoes, and chalk bag.
