Topo for Gambit. Follow the big dihedral and then turn onto the sweet face. Try to move over to the arete 50-100 ft. from the summit. Stupendous!

Gambit is a great climb.

If you're following the guidebook rap line, each of the 3 trees is marked with slings & rings. They're hard to see from above, but the the next station will always be somewhere about 10-15' to your right. So keep a lookout. Also definitely tie your ends.

The famous wrapped tree, now full-grown. The trail starts to the left of this tree.

These maps can be found at the visitor's center. From the visitor's center, go up, towards Rincon (there's a sign), around right the bottom of the Rincon wall up a gully, up metal stairs and to the left, and you'll be at the climb (L of the "J" tree).

Second rap station was hard to see from above, but it's just right of large tree. After the second rap is complete, walk down the westward angling ramp about 30ft. and downclimb 5.0 for 15ft. to base of gully.
