The Promised Land - Updated Directions?

I was just wondering if anyone had been to The Promised Land, outside of Prescott since they started construction? Tried to go out there about a year ago for the first time and the dirt road kind of dead-ended at a huge construction area. It was dark, so we gave up after driving around and around for 20 minutes or so. Would love to try to find it during the day with updated info in anybody has any.

I was out at the Promised Land a couple of months ago and was able to drive in without any problems. And the construction (the TW Pipeline project, I believe...) should be more or less wrapped up by now. The parking lot can definitely be tricky to find, especially in the dark -- if possible, maybe try to drive in while it's still light? Also, the parking lot is a bit a hike from the actual climbing areas, so you might have been close before. Good luck!

I was out there this past weekend and the directions as listed in The Promised Land area here on Mountain Project work. Everything is back to the way it was pre-pipeline construction, except for the fact that the area is torn up from construction vehicles.

There is a new gate installed (after you trend leftward past the ATV area). Right after you pass the gate, you are on top of the huge scar left over from the pipeline that was installed last year. Drive directly across this big dirt road-like scar and pick up the same old dirt road that parallels the barbed wire fence on the left, goes over the high-clearance rocky section (about 1/4 mile later) and continues on to the same old parking area for the Promised Land.
