Circus Nets Anyone?
The future of climbing? (gulp!) Or, am I just late to the party? |
saw this a few weeks ago.. the set up time, logistics, cost, experience needed so you don't get dead, perfect bottom conditions to make it work. it's not the future |
Looks like fun, but the set-up is a bitch. |
You hope whoever sets up the net is very competent... and we thought quarter inch bolts were scary to trust! |
Matt's an expert rigger. Check out his video of slacklining across the gap between two of the Chief's summits. In fact, I believe they set up the line and let any one try after signing a waiver. |

That looks really fun, Where can I get me a circus Net?! |
This gave me an even better idea! I'm going to buy a trampoline so that, when I fall, I bounce back up and can keep working the project. |

Better yet, get one of those stunt-person-fall-off-skyscraper-gigantic-air-pads, then we'll never need rope or pro again! jk;) |
