This route is absolutely spectacular and one of the great trad routes of all time. I have climbed this route a number of times with a variety of approaches, but one ascent was extra ordinary when Skip Guerin and I climbed the route barefoot in approximately 1 and 1/2 hours time. We left the house that morning in barefeet and a small rack and rope and returned the same way, it was the height of my barefootin' days.
