| It looks like the bridge area rock on the east bank of Rock Creek, which is located in the since closed climbing area. This is a large side stream that joins the Kankakee in the state park area. The DNR met with us years ago, but denied our appeal for climbing to continue. Closed since June '83. Some nice wicked routes there. Most have the overhanging start as the river undercut the limestone cliffs quite a bit. 5.9-5.10 starts are typical to get past the roofs. |
