My wife pounded in BASE jumping in Clear Creek Canyon yesterday. They screwed a rod into her femur and she should be home on Tuesday. A Dr. named Ed(also a climber) was essential to the safe return of Jackie. We don't know Dr. Ed's last name but he friggin ROCKS! I love you man.

Hank, glad to hear your wife is OK. Good luck with the recovery, too. Maybe these guys know who the doc was:

Thankfully it was as clean as a femur fracture can be? Like I said, thanks to anyone who jumps into a freaky situation that doesn't really involve them. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Apparently it was quite the disaster. I should have been there, I'm her hubby. Kinda like the military, but I was working in Texas.I feel like if I was there, maybe she'd be allright. I can't quit crying...thank you folks so much!

She'll be fine by the way.

Dude, I was wondering about who that was when I read that, your community being pretty small and all. Glad she is doing well. Should we plan on a welcome home party? In any case, hope all goes well.

Hank,
I was one of the guys there who witnessed the jump and ran across the river, after a fall like that I honestly thought we were just going to recovery a body. The fact that she was not only alive, but fully responsive is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Nothing short of a miracle, and I'm overjoyed to hear that she will be ok. Thoughts and prayers, man.

God Bless,
Maury

P.S. I'll make sure we get you that doc's name, we were climbing near those guys and got his son's email after it all.
