This fixed line could be cut in the middle, then extended 20 feet down to cover the bottom 10 feet which are the trickiest. DO NOT REPLACE THIS ROPE. As of the 2009 season, it is in great shape, and I'd think it would work for 2010 season as well.
The gully can be done with out this fixed line, but it is sure nice to have.
