Below North Glacier Pass and Banner Peak. Ten miles of trail in and 3,000 feet up. <br> <br> Before the five day backpack, I could hardly dog my way up a climb called El Nino @ Mammoth's Warming Wall. After the trip, El Nino, Nuclear Winter, Jam It, and Heat Vampire felt fun.

Banner Peak, 12,945' (3943m), and Thousand Island Lake. <br> <br> Marsha and I hiked from June Lake to Yosemite Valley. Thanks to the Yosemite Area Regional Transportation (YART) arranging a shuttle unnecessary.
