Does anyone have any info about what may have happened in the Flatirons Saturday? My partner and I were coming down from a quick jaunt up the third when we ran across an army of rescue people.

There was a rope of two on the 4th Flatiron.

The second fell ten feet and sprained or twisted her leg.
Her partner lowered her to within 25 feet of the ground and then tied her off (WTF?) and ran for help.

WHY he didn't just lower her to the ground is anyone's guess but then what where they thinking going up on the 4th Flatiron anyway since it is such a pile.

I believe both climbers are fine.

Sorry to anyone that may have been hurt.

Couldn't help noticing that it's still July. Did they lift the climbing ban on the third early?

Yeah, It's open. It was nice having it all to ourselves.

Glad the accident was minor.
