Does your gym allow you to take your shirt off?

Shirtless and wearing baggy-ass jeans with boxers showing.

We're all speechless. This madness must stop.

I can't believe I just barely noticed this thread.

I hate gyms where you can't take your shirt off. How could I possibly score hot babes without taking my shirt off? C'mon. That's ridiculous.

Ok, so the gym right now is oppressive with heat. I'm losing the shirt. Someday we're going to get A/C but....A. It's is REALLY expensive! B. Shouldn't we be saving energy by taking off our shirts?

Way to go green, Nick! That's the spirit. :D

Might as well wear short shorts while you're at it like a couple fellas I saw at the gym the other day. Not that I care, but with their harnesses all snugged up it made them look like they were wearing pampers. To their credit, my less than subtle laughter didn't seem to hinder their efforts on those stout 9's.

I keep my shirt on for two reasons - 1, I am a humble man who prefers not to draw attention to himself, and B, I think it is rude to rain sweat on other climbers. Yeah, it's nasty. I know. M2C.

I keep the shirt on. Too dangerous to take it off. Last time I did that, 3 dudes totally decked 'cause their lady belayers got distracted by my manly bare chest.

Me too, Doug! I was sitting here with my shirt off, when BAM! this thread rears its undying shirtless torso! Without a shirt for this long, at least the thread is getting a nice tan...

I was hoping it would die from exposure...after this many pages and useful/useless comments, what's the point anymore?

Conform. You must conform.
As a male I must wear baggy knee length shorts, baggy t-shirt with sleeves to elbow and wool hat. Goatee optional.
All females must have the standard naval piercing and tat on the lower back.
Any exceptions to the above stated dress code must be approved by committee.

Jon, where did you get this picture of me? I was much younger and not in very good physical shape back then.

Super, Deaun. Thanks for asking. Just trying to juggle work, politics, and finding some time to scratch the climbing itch. Hope your arm's healed from that violent domestic episode in Boulder Canyon last week! :)

Did I beat somebody up? Or get my butt kicked? I have these weird memory lapses:)

Edit: and did I have my shirt on at the time?

What's wrong with her? I said, "nothing, she's gorgeous and she should be naked or at least topless". My arm is still sore where she punched me...
I try to forget fights with my wife as soon as I can, too :)
