Hi...
I love two things...Rock Climbing and Swimming Holes..
Well, puppies too...But anyway. I am taking my first trip out to Smith Rock this weekend and I would also love to go swimming too. Anybody know of any good places to swim and take in some sun out there? Is the Crooked River safe to swim in or not? Some people say Yes..Some say no... I don't mind driving a little ways.
If you feel like being helpful, but don't want to post directions to your favorite secret swimmin' hole on the internet, you can email me at smithygreg@gmail.com and I will be eternally grateful and I won't tell a soul I swear!
Thanks a whole bunch and have a great summer everyone!

I have sent you some directions to a great swimming spot, write them into your guidebook somewhere... Don't tell a soul!

Enjoy :)

The Crooked River is not a safe river for swimming. A friend, who had been warned to not swim there, chose to anyway and spent the rest of his trip suffering from some pretty strange symptoms like chills and fever, headache, body aches, etc. There is a lot of agricultural areas nearby and chemical fertilizers are the main pollutants.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
