Soloing the Nose

I've been considering soloing the Nose, but I'm conserned about being too slow and holding up all the other parties trying to get up it. I'm not super slow, but I'm not super fast either. Does anyone here have experience with this problem? Is it easy for others to pass on most pitches?

Also, how does one solo the king swing?
