There are some places to put big gear on Moscow, and with the plentiful ledges and good stances it can be a fun place to experiment those techniques you saw-that-once-in-that-John-Long-book that you paged through in the public library. Please note the lack of 'biner (or any sort) of attachment of one hex to the other - not ideal and my follower was rightly quick to criticize. The hexes are the DMM model.

Great anchor building potential. Cordelette is nice for flexibility and being creative with the boulders (P1+P2), but a double-length (48in) sling can get you by (P3+P4). Having a BD #1 and BD#2 at the anchor was nice, since I used both on 3 of 4 anchors.

Gear anchors, bring plenty of materials if you want to overbuild stuff like this. Built with gear, 1 triple length sling and 28 feet of cordage.
