Shakespeare Sonnet Number 71 No longer mourn for me when I am dead Than you shall hear the surly sullen bell Give warning to the world that I am fled From this vile world with vilest worms to dwell Nay, if you read this line, remember not The hand that writ it; for I love you so That I in your sweet thoughts would be forgot If thinking on me then should make you woe O, if, I say, you look upon this verse When I perhaps compounded am with clay Do not so much as my poor name rehearse But let your love even with my life decay, Lest the wise world should look into your moan And mock you with me after I am gone. Isaiah 64:4 No Eye has seen, No ear has heard, No mind has conceived of what God has prepaired for those who love him.
An Arizona daughter is no longer with us but please let us all band together and bow our heads in a momement of silence and give in suport of her young daughter.

I hesitated to ask Rick to share a little more about Kelly Bell for MP users who aren't familiar with her, or how one can contribute to her daughter. It felt like whispering in the middle of someone's memorial service. But Greg sort of broke that ice. Rick, can you say more?

This is sad news for our community. Kelly was a free spirit and always a joy to run into when climbing. It was a bit like seeing a local legend. Back in the early 90's she quite possibly was one of the strongest AZ women climbers around. More recently, she became a sought after and respected tile layer. My condolences to all of her friends, family and loved ones and to Kelly, happiness & joy in the afterlife. ~Susan

Kelly's passing is sad. She was definately a free spirit and a bold climber. Her routes in Zonerland are some of the most classic and bolted on lead. So many "back in the day" memories. Rest in peace Kelly Bell.

It's really sad to hear about Kelly...as one of Phoenix's best early female climbers, she has a huge place in our history. I'll never forget how the climbing community rallied around me when I had an accident many years ago...and in case you're looking for something to do to support Kelly, there is a college fund for her daughter Taylor...call Dave Sloan at 602-430-7114

A climber can always count on fellow climbers for help in times of need. A wonderful fellow climber is gone - Kelly Bell. In her absence, we can help her 15 year old daughter Taylor in her quest for college. There is a website set up for just that: Taylorbellscollege.com. I know I can count on your help.
