It would be kinda nice if they made a Frontline for humans. I put it on my dogs and it lasts >1 month. Though you're not supposed to bathe them for a few days after applying... hmmm...

On the frontline for humans deal: I met this lady at Boat Rock a few days ago that told me she used to work for a vet. Her job there was mainly grooming dogs and applying frontline. Frontline frequently came in contact with her skin. She said while working there she never found a tick, chigger, or mosquito biting her. Interesting.
Ticks attacked me and my buddies for two whole weekends in Big Cottonwood Canyon in Utah. Pulled two out

After 10 years living in Boulder, I had never picked up a tick on the front range until this spring. I removed 2 after climbing at Security Risk crag in Boulder Canyon. With reports of ticks in Clear creek, St. Vrain, Boulder Canyon, and Eldorado Canyon, perhaps they are here to stay. Is this a sign of global warming? who knows, but I've never heard of this many encounters on the front range.
For removal, there is a product called the 'tick twister', available at pet stores. It removes the tick without squeezing, burning, or exploding the tick, and works really well (tried it on the dog).
