When I climbed Ship Rock in 1978,,, my buddies and I gave as much respect as possible as any American Indian anywhere, at any time; This is a sacred mountain. Why would you disgrace it ?
We can only honor it as much as we respect the American Indians and the treatment they were given.

Ship Rock should only be climbed w due respect.
