Stephen,
Great Photos man. Should have purchased a digital camera before the event. However could you send me an email with these photos? I would like to gather a collection of the photos from other climbers who brought cameras also?

I know this has nothing to do with the thread at hand but,,Im headed to AZ in about a week for 3 weeks down in Ft Huachuca area, Im wondering how far is it from Ft Huachuca to this "cochese head" place? does any one know? and is there any one that will be climbing then? Im also looking for partners on weekends.

Ike,
Do you mean "The Sheepshead", at the Cochise Stronghold? If this is what you are asking about, it is about 40 miles due northeast of Huachuca City, and 50 miles of Fort Huachuca/ Sierra Vista. Have fun out there it is a great place to be. I would love to join you, but there are other things I have going on around that time. Welcome to Arizona, enjoy your time.

It takes me about 45mins or so to get there but i take it real easy on middlemarch as not to stir up the locals with the obligatory dust storm. Are you taking a class here on post? How long will you be here?

I'm down with climbing and some victory beer (aka: liquid bread)... just don't try and push any of that Colt 45 on me... lol. I'm a homebrewer ;). I work on post so maybe we can pick you up on a lunch break and take you up in the Huachucas. I work with a couple guys that do the whole rock crawling thing with Jeeps and all and sometimes we bail for a lunch break and go hit some trails (i look for crags...).

pm me...

right-on bro, sounds good. My jeep is in colorado so I'l just watch, I work at Ft Irwin and get to do quit a bit of off road but with gov vehicles. Dont worry about the colt 45 thing, i was just joking, is there a local brewery there?
