Hi,

I'm simply wondering if the cliffs are dry in Rumney right now? If so, is it just Main Cliff and Waimea?

Also, wondering the same thing about the boulders at the base of the crags...

Furthermore, are any problems dry in Pawtuckaway?

I'm looking to head south to do some rock climbing this weekend because here there is way too much snow/cold weather.

Hi Dom,
Waimea and Main Cliff should be dry, I am also planning to get out this weekend. There is still a bit of snow in the woods however so I would assume that P-way is out. I could be wrong though. Happy climbing.

Main Cliff is pretty dry, although the blackjacks have so much snow around them a lot of the problems that are usually stand starts are no sit starts.

I don't know how P-tuck is, but I think it is prob. similar.

35 and sunny according to weather.com for saturday... are waimea/bonsai climbable in these temperatures or am I limited to main cliff? Can you tell that I am itching for some sport climbing :)

Crow's Nest and Jimmy Cliff should also be dry.

I was at Pawtuckaway on Tuesday. Most stuff at the Round Pond Boulder area was dry, with snowy top outs. Lakeside Crag and Lower Slabs were in good shape, as was most of the Trailside area. In Boulder Natural it was hit or miss. Some problems that are shaded most of time were iced up pretty good. Hobbit Hole comes to mind. Still, there's plenty of options right now.
