Ah yes, the infamous Manitou Teardrop... Man it has been a long time. Thanks for posting this photo Allen... The wife really liked it. I hope all of the old gang is doing well.

That problem took me months to get. At some point during that time Jimmy Dunn came over for a social visit, and fired right up it. Bryan Becker lived in the house before I did and also could do all these very difficult routes with no problem. My favorite memory of that house is sitting in a lawn chair under the rock taking in the sun only to be taken out of my bliss by Harvey Carter coming through our front gate with a case of Natural Light. It was a fun afternoon. I wonder who lives there now? It just hit me that this photo was taken the day Dylan Becker was born. I drove to the hospital that night to be with Bryan and meet Dylan. How are you Brent?

This rock is just like the Ute pass boulders only it's in downtown Mantou. This was my front yard for sometime. B. Becker gave it to us to rent . He did all the hard first ascents. This is Brent Kurtzman climbing. Private property!
