Is the dog spotting too?

The dog is the only one spotting that fall line. The other guy is just there to be sure he lands on the dog.

Yeah, that's me pressing out that scary mantle, trying not to think about the dog in the crash zone. Chris snapped several great shots of this ascent with my compact camera, and Jim's chocolate Lab was directly below me in every shot. Good thing I had this problem wired back then.
