There are two route proposals for Fixed Hardware in the Flatirons that need public review and input.

The first route proposal is on the West Face of the Slab, the second proposal is for a route on the West Face of the Third Flatiron.

Here is the link for the routes:

www.flatironsclimbing.com/fhrc/current.php

Public review and approval meeting will be held at the SPOT Bouldering Gym, on Tuesday, November 27 starting at 7pm.

The link is currently working for me with both Firefox and IE, but the website at times has been known to have problems.

Try again as public input is important for the overall success of the new route proposal process in the Flatirons.

Also if possible attend the public review meeting on November 27th.

Let's see what the problem is.
I have Qwest as my ISP. Does anybody with Qwest get it to work?
I have found www.flatironsclimbing.com has an IP address of 208.70.160.15, but that seems to be an admin entry address.
I cannot ping www.flatironsclimbing.com (cound not find host).
I can ping 208.70.160.15.
Can one of the admins here find an email address for me that I can communicate the problem to www.flatironsclimbing.com.

Thanks,
Greg

Change one of your DNS IP address where you get name resolution to a DNS server that is not managed by qwest. I use 205.171.2.65.

I'm on qwest but I don't use their dns which generally sucks.

I have no problems connecting to this site on windows, mac or Linux using a variety of browsers.

Give that a try.

Got this resolved by adding the following line:

208.70.160.15 www.flatironsclimbing.com

to the file:

C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

(actually my wife did it for me).

Adding that line also worked for me.

The application for a new route on the Northwest Face of The Slab was approved.

The application for a new route on the West Face of the Third Flatiron was withdrawn in light of potential direct start entirely independent of Saturday's Folly.
