This is the left hand route which moves through a steep, diagonaling 5.8ish crack.
This photo shows the Smitty's Caterpillar formation lying a couple hundred yards northwest and directly uphill from the "Peaches," climb (Children's Crag) in Willow Springs.
<br> There are two obvious crack lines. Both routes eventually meet in the middle of the formation at varnished rock resembling a caterpillar, and then continue upward.
