Anybody interested in partnering up for a Zion wall (Touchstone/Moonlight/Prodigal, etc), sometime around the end of June/start of July? I will have full racks and ropes and am comfortable on 5.10 C2. I would prefer single day pushes, but am up for anything. My partner bailed and I would like to salvage something out of the trip.

Whoa. I guess I had heard that it could be bearable, and that on a north facing wall could be comfortable, but damn, that just doesn't sound fun at all!

Based on my mid-may outing, I'd call that insanity.

I've climbed P-sun several times in August. It's called that for a reason. Get up early and you'll be out of the sun in no time. Temps will be sweet in the shade with the wind whipping around you.

I've done several july and august runs on various walls. Got to say that all in all, it's not that bad (mind you, I'm a desert rat). Depending on what wall, you can usually get out of the sun for a good chunk of the day, and just relax, or take off elsewhere. But no doubt, it will be warm=)

Hey My name is Travis I currently live in Parachute, CO (10 miles from rifle) I would be very interested! I'm not very experienced on any aid (never led an entire pitch just kind of bouldered around) and am not a real strong climber(lead 5.8 pretty solid and could probably follow like .10a), but I do have my own set of aiders and jumars, a good free climbing rack and a rope if needs be. I have also been to Zion on what turned out to be a reconnaissance mission (rain) so I do have some idea what we would be getting into. I also just want to say that I'm willing to learn and am always down for anything! I have done quite a few multi-pitch all-trad climbs the biggest being "The Bastille Crack" in Eldorado Canyon. My only potential problem is how long you are wanting to go I think that I could for sure probably get 4 days off and maybe a couple of more if needs be. I have my own framing company so I just have to plan ahead a little bit so that I can line out a couple of my guys. If you're still interested give me a call (970) 216-3883. The heat doesn't bother me either! (let's get it on!)
